Smoke-free beaches

The Cannes Town Hall offers the public two smoke-free beaches: one located to the east, at Bijou Plage, and the other to the west of the town, on the Plage des Rochers at La Bocca, as part of an agreement signed with the Comité des Alpes-Maritimes de la Ligue Contre le Cancer

The ban on smoking, adopted by municipal decree, applies to the 300-metre stretch of water in front of each beach.

Offenders are liable to a fine of €38. This preventive action demonstrates the City's commitment to the fight against smoking and is a new measure to protect Cannes' coastline.
