Sainte-Marguerite island

The eclectic

Sainte-Marguerite Island, located off the coast of Cannes, is a true Mediterranean gem, combining natural beauty and rich history.

Perfect for a nature getaway, the island offers trails through pine trees and mimosa trees, fine sandy beaches, wild coves, and crystal-clear waters ideal for swimming or diving.

Steeped in history, it is home to Fort Royal, famous for the Man in the Iron Mask, and its museum retracing this legend. Also, for diving enthusiasts, the Écomusée sous-marin presents the seabed and sculptures by artist Jason DeCaires Taylor.

Finally, its historic buildings and military remains bear witness to its strategic role, making Sainte-Marguerite a place where nature and culture come together.
