Villa Domergue

The exceptional art gallery

La villa Domergue

Formerly Villa Fiesole. The villa and grounds are very much influenced by the Italian style and were built in 1934 on land Jean-Gabriel Domergue bought at the end of Avenue de la Californie.

The artist Jean-Gabriel Domergue designed the building and its interior design down to the last detail whilst his sculptor wife created the terraced gardens with ponds and waterfalls. Jean-Gabriel Domergue died in 1962 and Odette Maudrange-Domergue left the property to Cannes Town Hall in 1973.

This magical setting is open to visitors for temporary exhibitions and VIP events which tend to take place in summer. Big names from all over the world flock here.

The residence has been listed as a Monument Historique since 1990.
