The Olympic Flame arrives in Cannes on June 18

Cannes will host the famous torch for the second time - after taking it up the Cannes Festival's no less famous red carpet on May 21 - at the heart of an exceptional operation. The convoy, comprising some twenty torchbearers, security vehicles and the publicity caravan, will depart from the town hall at 11:28 am on June 18 and reach the Moure Rouge water sports center an hour later.

Along the 4 km route, the torchbearers will take turns every 200 meters. Three sites will also host events: the Allées de la Liberté with Espérance de Cannes; the Roseraie skatepark with a skateboard and scooter demonstrations by the Comité départemental 06 FF & Skateboard; and finally the Square de Verdun with a badminton demonstration by the Bad'06 committee.
