Give and support the Cannes foundation

Being one the most visited and recognized French cities do not prevent Cannes for facing the challenges raised by growing social and cultural inequalities.

Considering this situation, The City Council of Cannes, alongside with seven local businesses and individual donators have created the Cannes Foundation* in order to foster local generosity and to promote a sustainable economic development in the city.

The fund’s objectives are twofold:

• Create a true and long lasting solidarity between local and foreign residents of the city who care about Cannes.
• Allow inhabitants and businesses to efficiently provide concrete support to the projects of their choice. The Fund helps the donators to identify the beneficiaries and precisely allocate the charitable contributions.

Give and join the community

The Cannes Foundation is regulated under French national law « Loi du n°2008-776 du 4 août 2008 de modernisation de l’économie et le décret n°2009-158 du 11 février 2009 relatif aux fonds de dotation ». It is registered as an official charitable organization since October 2015.
