ILYUN BÜRKEV, piano

Née en Turquie en 2008, İlyun Bürkev commence le piano à quatre ans et poursuit une formation d’exception entre Istanbul et le Mozarteum de Salzbourg, auprès notamment de Burcu Aktaş Urgun, Gülsin Onay et Pavel Gililov.

Lauréate de plusieurs concours internationaux, elle est récompensée la Jeune Chopin International Piano Competition en 2023 ainsi qu’au Philadelphia International Music Festival Concerto Competition en 2024. Beethoven, Schumann, Liszt et Debussy deviennent sous ses doigts un terrain de feu.

Le pianiste écossais Fergus McCreadie s’impose aujourd’hui comme l’une des voix majeures du jazz européen grâce à un univers mêlant jazz contemporain et folk écossais. Son album Forest Floor (2022) lui a valu une reconnaissance internationale, avec notamment une nomination au Mercury Prize et le Scottish Album of the Year Award. Son dernier opus, The Shieling,
confirme l’identité singulière et immersive de son trio.

En 2025, il signe également une partie de la bande originale du film Highest 2 Lowest de Spike Lee. Artiste Yamaha, il est en résidence auprès du Chamber Music Scotland pour la saison 2025/26.
