How do I obtain a pass for the Cannes Film Festival?
• Passes (accréditations) are reserved for film-industry professionals, who should request them from the Cannes Film Festival organisers.
• As part of the Cannes Cinéphiles scheme, the Cannes Film Association (Association Cannes Cinéma) awards passes to members of associations of film enthusiasts from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (PACA) region, to groups of students from the film or audiovisual departments of schools, colleges or universities, and to a small number of individuals from the PACA region who make a particularly strong, original case for receiving one. Passes give priority access to film screenings in the Cannes Cinéphiles auditoriums (La Licorne, Studio 13 and Le Raimu), where most films from the different Cannes selections (including Critics’ Week and Directors’ Fortnight) are rescreened.

Are tickets for the film screenings available for purchase?
Access to screenings of competing and non-competing films at the Cannes Film Festival is for badge-holders or those with invitations only; no tickets may be sold.
For films in the Official Selection, which are screened in the Grand Auditorium Lumière, pass-holders must present an invitation. Invitations are non-transferable, even free of charge, and anyone found doing so will be prosecuted.
Screenings for non-pass-holders:
• The City of Cannes offers Cannes residents the chance to win tickets to screenings of competing and non-competing films.
• The Cinéma de la Plage also gives the non-pass-holding public access to the event by offering open-air screenings of non-competing Official Selection films and audiovisual heritage films. Access is by means of invitations, which may be obtained from the City of Cannes Tourist Office (Office du Tourisme de la Ville de Cannes) or Cannes Cinéma’s Espace Cannes Cinéphiles.
• Hundreds of invitations are available from Cannes Cinéma for Cannes Cinéphiles screenings. Invitations are valid throughout the network of Cannes Cinéphiles auditoriums (La Licorne, Le Studio 13 and Le Raimu), where most films from the different Cannes selections are rescreened. Invitations may be obtained from Cannes Cinéma at the Espace Cannes Cinéphiles or at any of the three Cannes Cinéphiles auditoriums.
